Our verdict on WaZa MDM
WaZa MDM is a cloud-based mobile device management service for organizations managing Android devices. Its BYOD work-profile mode keeps managed work apps and data separate from the personal side of a device, making it a focused option for small Android teams that want basic oversight without managing an entire personal device. It also supports corporate-owned and dedicated kiosk devices, so its use is not limited to BYOD deployments.
The strongest fit is Android policy and app administration. Administrators can deploy Google Play apps, set managed configurations, defaults, and permissions, and configure password, security, Wi-Fi, email, wallpaper, and OTA update policies. Location tracking includes up to 15 days of history, and geofences can send entry and exit notifications. Users can be added individually or by CSV upload. A web console works alongside an Android app for device setup and policy syncing. That combination suits teams centered on Android; organizations requiring other mobile platforms should look elsewhere.
