Our verdict on VPN Tracker
VPN Tracker connects Mac, iPhone and iPad users to VPN gateways and remote networks. It suits teams that manage varied VPN connections on Apple devices, as well as individuals who need a client for supported gateways. Protocols include IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard, L2TP and several vendor-specific SSL VPNs; availability depends on device and plan. Its scope is distinctly Apple-focused, so teams needing clients across other operating systems should look elsewhere.
TeamCloud lets users save, share and sync preconfigured VPN connections. For team and enterprise use, VPN Tracker adds remote deployment, role-based access controls and team groups. Jamf, Microsoft Intune and Kandji integrations support deployment into common Apple device-management environments. Additional tools include VPN traffic control, split tunneling, network scanning behind a VPN, a connection checker and VPN Shortcuts for one-click access to remote resources. This breadth makes it useful where staff need different gateways or centrally managed connection settings, rather than a basic single-user tunnel alone.
The Basic plan includes one VPN connection, Mac support and TeamCloud sync. The published Basic price is €8.40 per month when charged annually, and a seven-day free trial is available. The vendor's plans are paid, and additional professional features are described, but the supplied plan information does not establish which tier includes each one. VPN Tracker is a fit for Apple-centric teams that value connection sharing, deployment controls and gateway variety; organizations that require Windows or Linux clients, or need a clearly defined plan breakdown before choosing, should compare alternatives.
