Our verdict on Versus Remap

Versus Remap is a Windows desktop controller-mapping application for gamers who need to translate DualSense or Xbox inputs into keyboard, mouse, or virtual controller signals. It also maps keyboard and mouse inputs, supports Windows 10 and 11, and can be used with a Windows PC or laptop for console use. The feature set suits players and teams that need saved per-game configurations, quick profile access, or licensed access across multiple machines.

Pricing is organized around annual billing. Solo costs $39 per seat per year and includes DualSense, Xbox, keyboard, and mouse support, four slots with shift layers, macros, turbo, and a virtual pad. Duo costs $59 per plan per year for two machine seats, with a friend account and owner-managed billing. Trio costs $79 per plan per year for three machine seats with separate accounts and profiles, while Squad costs $99 per plan per year for four machine seats with the same account and management structure. There is no free plan. The plans show monthly equivalents billed yearly, while the displayed purchase flow also includes a one-month selector.

Its strongest area is control depth. Users can save profiles in four device slots, switch automatically when supported games launch, and use a Main layer plus three shift layers. Macros can include pauses and delays, while turbo and toggle bindings add alternate input behaviors. Analog stick zones and curves provide further control, and the configurable controller stream overlay adds an on-screen reference. Virtual output can appear as Xbox, DualShock 4, or generic controller signals. Versus Remap is a good fit for Windows-focused teams that value layered remapping and shared seat management; users needing another operating system or a free alternative should look elsewhere.
