Our verdict on Veilock
Veilock is a paid VPN service from Nubinity, LLC, positioned for people trying to bypass internet censorship, including users on restrictive networks. Its Atlas plan costs $4.46 per month with monthly billing, and includes two simultaneous devices, unmetered bandwidth, AES-256-GCM encryption, a strict no-logs policy, and censorship-bypass access. The service supports Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. Its focus is straightforward: obfuscate VPN traffic to make it resemble ordinary HTTPS traffic, rather than offer a broad range of stealth protocols.
The notable fit for this category is its combination of obfuscation and routing options. Veilock provides OpenVPN profiles with TCP and UDP transport options, plus automatic fallback routing when a network path is degraded. DNS-over-HTTPS is also included. These features may suit users looking for basic obfuscation and an alternate path when connectivity falters, but they do not establish that the service is present or accessible in Iran. The vendor describes the traffic as HTTPS-like; it does not list a separate stealth protocol.
Setup and device limits are important tradeoffs. Users configure Veilock through compatible OpenVPN clients, not a dedicated Veilock app, and the service lists two simultaneous connections. The vendor documents setup on compatible routers as well as the named desktop and mobile platforms. Support channels include email, phone, and documentation. Atlas is the only priced plan described; Epsilon and Purple Veil are marked as coming soon. The pricing page says refunds are evaluated case by case, with no fixed guarantee period. Veilock is a reasonable fit for individuals or small groups comfortable configuring OpenVPN and prioritizing obfuscation; those who need more simultaneous connections or verified availability in Iran should compare alternatives.
