Our verdict on UserLens
UserLens is a customer adoption and retention platform for B2B SaaS and product-led growth teams. Its Lumi product connects product, account, and behavioral data to identify adoption opportunities and prepare personalized guidance for users. Teams can define campaign goals, qualifying audiences, context, and guardrails, then measure whether guidance changes product behavior. The product is best suited to teams focused on adoption campaigns, retention activity, and behavior measurement rather than traditional usability research.
The plan structure is built around profiles, personalized email volume, active campaigns, integrations, and support. Free includes 100 profiles, 300 personalized emails per month, one active campaign, PostHog integration, and database integration. Starter costs $100 per month and raises the included volume to 10,000 profiles, 10,000 personalized emails per month, and five active campaigns. Growth costs $1,000 per month with annual billing and adds expanded volumes, more active campaigns, additional data integrations, priority onboarding, and priority support. Enterprise adds custom limits, security and governance controls, custom integrations, and dedicated implementation and support.
UserLens fits teams that already have product and account data to process and want campaigns tied to measurable adoption goals. Its listed integrations include PostHog, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Mixpanel, and Amplitude, with custom integrations available on Enterprise. The main limitation is category fit: the product is not positioned around usability studies, participant recruitment, moderated or unmoderated testing, or prototype support. Teams choosing software for those activities should select a purpose-built usability testing product instead. Teams measuring whether users adopt product workflows should find the focus more appropriate.
