Our verdict on UCareSoft
UCareSoft brings intake, patient management, clinical documentation, visit scheduling and Medicare revenue-cycle work into a home health and hospice platform. Its intended users include agency administrators, field clinicians and billing teams. The combination is particularly relevant to agencies that need OASIS assessments, GPS-based EVV scheduling and offline mobile visit documentation alongside claims and remittance workflows.
Field documentation and scheduling are central strengths. Clinicians can document visits and OASIS assessments offline, then synchronize the records; scheduling includes GPS EVV and geofencing. Clinical workflows also include CMS-485 plans of care with physician e-signature, wound photos, dressing logs and infection alerts. For agencies with intermittent connectivity or detailed assessment requirements, this breadth can reduce the need to separate visit documentation from the surrounding clinical record. The published plans add OASIS-E1/E2 with a CDSS scrubber in Essentials, with wound care and AI auto-measure listed in Professional.
