Our verdict on TutorHive
TutorHive is an online management platform for independent tutors, tutoring agencies, and schools. It brings scheduling, student profiles, attendance, session notes, homework, invoicing, payment links, parent access, booking pages, certificates, and reporting into one web-based system. Its fit is clearest for small tutoring businesses that want operational tools and a parent-facing portal without assembling separate products.
Pricing is structured around a useful progression. Free Forever costs $0 per month and includes a basic calendar, homework tracker, global holidays, and one invoice per month, while supporting up to two students and one tutor. Pro costs $14 per month, billed monthly, and adds unlimited students, one tutor, full calendar and scheduling, invoicing and payments, a parent portal with PIN, and a booking website. Agency plans cost $29 per month for up to 25 tutors or $49 per month for 26–50 tutors; both add tutors and staff management, payroll tracking, an admin dashboard, revenue reporting, and a custom domain. The published plans also show a 7-day free trial.
TutorHive’s strongest point is breadth for a small operation. Recurring sessions, real-time booking availability, attendance, progress notes, homework, certificates, payment links, and revenue reporting cover both teaching administration and business follow-up.
