Our verdict on TransIP VPS
TransIP VPS provides self-managed virtual private servers for websites, applications, development environments and infrastructure projects. It supports Linux and Windows operating systems, root access, private networking and control-panel resource changes. The service offers shared or dedicated vCPU options, NVMe storage with distributed replication, snapshots, firewall and monitoring features, and an encrypted VPS console. Its plan range suits solo users through enterprise teams that want control over their server environment rather than a managed hosting service.
Pricing is straightforward across five monthly tiers. The 1 vCPU / 1 GB RAM plan costs €5 per month and includes 100 GB NVMe, unlimited traffic and 1 snapshot. At €10 per month, the 1 vCPU / 2 GB RAM plan keeps the same storage and traffic allowances. The €20 plan provides 2 vCPUs and 4 GB RAM, while the €50 plan offers 4 vCPUs and 8 GB RAM. The top €100 plan includes 8 vCPUs and 16 GB RAM. Prices exclude VAT. Optional automated backups add protection beyond the included snapshot capability.
