TransIP Email Only provides email hosting for custom domains without web space. It is aimed at individuals and small organizations that need branded email addresses, multiple mailboxes, forwarding, and standard access through browser-based webmail or desktop and mobile email clients. Support for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP also makes it suitable for Outlook, Thunderbird, and Mail for macOS.
The published plans are straightforward. Email Only 3 mailboxes costs €6.50 per month and includes three 2 GB mailboxes, 250 email forwards, a forwarding service, antivirus and spam filtering, and webmail access. Email Only 5 mailboxes costs €8.50 per month and adds two more mailboxes while keeping the same 2 GB-per-mailbox storage, 250-forward allowance, filtering, forwarding, and webmail features. Prices are shown excluding VAT. Both plans also support import and export of email messages, out-of-office replies, filters, and mailbox storage management.
Its strongest fit is narrow and practical: domain email for a small group that already has preferred email applications or is comfortable using webmail. Migration tools, forwarding, filtering, and standard protocols cover the core administration needs without requiring a broader hosting package. The trade-off is limited breadth. Mailboxes have 2 GB each, there is no calendar feature, and mobile access uses third-party applications rather than native mobile apps. Choose TransIP Email Only when dependable basic mailbox and forwarding features are the priority; choose a broader email platform when calendars, larger mailboxes, or an integrated mobile experience matter more.
