Our verdict on TPx Virtual Fax
TPx Virtual Fax is a business online fax service for sending and receiving faxes without physical fax hardware. It suits organizations that need centralized fax handling, virtual local or toll-free numbers, and administrative control over document flow. Users can send faxes through a web portal, by email with document attachments, or through Windows applications. Inbound faxes can be delivered by email or viewed in the portal, giving teams more than one way to manage routine fax traffic.
The published usage plan includes the first 750 inbound and outbound fax pages. This allowance is described as an included usage threshold rather than a named subscription tier, while TPx directs prospective customers to contact sales for pricing information. The service also includes fax history, delivery notifications, address-book management, and scheduled outbound faxing with automatic retries. That combination makes it a fit for recurring business workflows where delivery tracking and fewer manual follow-ups matter.
Its strongest differentiator is administrative fax management rather than basic send-and-receive functionality. OCR-based search helps locate inbound fax content, while routing, delegation, forwarding, configurable retention, and audit trails support shared operations and oversight. HIPAA is specified as the compliance level. The documented platform coverage is web and Windows, so teams that prioritize those environments have a clear fit; organizations seeking a mobile-first workflow should consider alternatives. Choose TPx Virtual Fax when managed routing, searchable inbound content, and governance controls are priorities. It is less suitable for buyers who need transparent self-service pricing or broader platform coverage.
