Timetastic is web and mobile software for managing employee leave and absence. It suits teams and small businesses that need employees to request time off, managers to approve or decline requests, and departments to monitor availability. Shared calendars, leave balances, custom absence types, and an interactive absence wallchart keep time-off information visible. Staffing levels and clash detection make it particularly relevant for organizations where holiday coverage matters across departments and work schedules.
The published plans show three paid options. Business costs $1.50 per user per month and includes unlimited users and departments, a shared calendar, holiday allowance records and approvals, and mobile and desktop apps. Pro costs $2.50 per user per month and adds booking limits by leave type, absence trends and insights, company-wide absence reports, enhanced user profiles, and leave accruals with capped leave. Rota & Time Clock costs $5.50 per user per month and adds rota building, clock-in and clock-out, payroll-ready timesheets, leave and absence requests, and HR data storage. A 30-day trial is available, while there is no permanent free plan.
Timetastic connects with Google Workspace, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, Apple Calendar, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Sage 50, and QuickBooks. It is available on web, iOS, Android, and through an API, giving it a broad fit for calendar, collaboration, and payroll workflows. The main distinction is between straightforward leave administration and the deeper Pro or Rota & Time Clock features: advanced accruals require Pro, while rota and time-clock work sits in the highest-priced tier. Choose Timetastic if shared coverage visibility, holiday calendars, and employee self-service are priorities; consider another option if a permanent free plan is essential or if those higher-tier features do not fit the budget.
