Our verdict on Tide Payroll

Tide Payroll is a web-based payroll service for eligible Tide members and UK businesses that need to handle monthly payroll. It calculates income tax, National Insurance, pension contributions, student loan deductions and taxable bonuses, and supports salary and tax reporting to HMRC. Employers can also manage timesheets, send digital payslips by email and make salary payments through the Tide app. The product is aimed at small businesses, particularly those with a straightforward monthly payroll rather than frequent or complex payroll cycles.

The published pricing is £12 per month for the Tide Payroll subscription, which covers two individuals and two payroll-related payments.
