Our verdict on TheGreenBow VPN Client
TheGreenBow VPN Client is software for creating encrypted remote-access connections to an organization’s existing IPsec or OpenVPN gateways. It is aimed at Windows users who need to reach enterprise systems, including teleworkers and IT staff connecting to company infrastructure. The product is a client, not a service that supplies VPN gateways. The vendor also offers clients for Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS, while the Windows Standard plan specifically lists Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11 support.
Its connection and authentication options are a central strength for organizations with established VPN infrastructure. Supported protocols include IPsec IKEv1 and IKEv2, as well as OpenVPN gateways. Authentication can use PKI and certificates or pre-shared keys, with token and smart-card integration also available. Multiple simultaneous tunnels, Dead Peer Detection, and redundant gateway support provide controls for managing connections. These capabilities make it a more suitable fit for IT-managed remote access than for individuals looking for a consumer VPN subscription.
According to the vendor’s store, Windows Standard costs €74 per license for orders of 1–4 licenses; the 5–24 and 25+ license tiers are also offered, without prices stated here. The published offer includes a 30-day trial, but no perpetual free plan. Silent installation and command-line control can help IT teams manage deployment, while the Enterprise Windows edition adds deployment and integration tooling for larger organizations and public-sector environments. Choose TheGreenBow when users need a Windows client for existing gateways and centralized deployment matters. Choose another option if you need a VPN provider with its own service and gateways, or if you need a clearly priced multi-license tier before purchase.
