Our verdict on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt puts players in the role of Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer searching for his adopted daughter, Ciri. Its story moves through the war-torn Northern Kingdoms, where choices affect characters and the world. This is a single-player role-playing game for players who want an expansive fantasy setting and meaningful narrative decisions, rather than online multiplayer. The listed PC platform is Windows, with controller support noted.
Combat gives Geralt several tools: swords, potions, blade oils, signs and dodges. Character progression uses an overhauled skill tree, while the open world supports exploration beyond the central search for Ciri.
