Thalassa Cloud Object Storage provides S3-compatible storage through an API and web console for backups, media, logs, datasets, application assets and container artifacts. Its feature set suits teams that want to work with familiar S3 tooling, including small, mid-market and enterprise organizations with cloud workloads. Regional multi-availability-zone replication and private VPC endpoints are relevant for workloads that need those controls, while the service's beta status makes it a less natural fit for buyers seeking a mature, generally available offering.

According to the vendor's published plans, stored data costs €0.05 per GB per month, and public data transfer is separately priced at €0.05 per GB per month. There is no free plan. The vendor also says API requests may affect actual costs, so buyers should account for requests as well as storage and transfer when estimating spend. The listed pricing is in EUR and excludes VAT. These charges are straightforward to identify, but the separate transfer line and request-related costs matter for workloads with substantial access or egress.

The integration range is a practical strength: the service lists AWS CLI and SDKs, boto3, MinIO client libraries, rclone, several backup tools, and GitHub Actions, GitLab CI and Jenkins. Versioning, lifecycle policies, bucket policies, IAM integration, multipart uploads, and object lock with retention controls extend its fit for backup and application workflows. Choose it if S3 compatibility and these integrations align with your stack and regional replication is useful. Consider an alternative if beta availability is unacceptable or if you need costs that do not vary with public transfer and API requests.
