Our verdict on TexasLawDate

TexasLawDate is a browser-based legal calendaring tool for solo attorneys, law firms, paralegals, and legal assistants handling Texas civil litigation. It calculates state and federal deadlines under the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and local rules for all four Texas federal districts. Matter management supports unlimited matters and saved deadlines, while AI tools analyze litigation documents, help draft client emails, and support deadline review.

The published plans show a Solo tier at $59 per month. It includes Texas state and federal deadline coverage, an AI document scanner, trial-date back-calculation, Docket Control Order parsing, Outlook export, and unlimited matters and saved deadlines. The Firm tier is $99 per month and adds a firm-wide deadline dashboard, multi-attorney calendar export, and priority rule update notifications. Firm Plus is also listed at $99 per month, with a per-seat charge above 10, and adds an enterprise deadline dashboard and priority support. A 15-day trial is available.

Its clearest fit is a Texas-focused practice that wants automated rule calculations alongside document intake and calendar reminders. Outlook export provides 14-day, 7-day, and 1-day reminders, but the calendar connection is one-way rather than a broader two-way synchronization. The product also concentrates on Texas civil litigation, so practices working across other jurisdictions or seeking wider platform coverage may need a different calendaring system. Choose TexasLawDate when Texas rules, local-rule coverage, and litigation-specific workflows matter more than broad ecosystem support; look elsewhere if multi-jurisdiction work or deeper integrations is the priority.
