Our verdict on Teravul
Teravul brings vulnerability scanning and scanner-data management into one platform for security teams that need a consolidated view of exposure. It scans web applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, containers, and network services, while also ingesting findings from scanner integrations and common file formats. Teams can normalize and deduplicate findings, then use composite risk scoring based on CVSS, EPSS, CISA KEV, asset criticality, and finding age to prioritize remediation. That breadth makes it a fit for organizations handling findings across multiple environments and tools, rather than teams seeking only a single-purpose scanner.
The workflow extends beyond prioritization: users can assign remediation, apply SLA timers, escalate overdue work, track status, and verify fixes through rescans. Integrations include Qualys, Tenable, Burp Suite, SonarQube, Snyk, Trivy, and Checkmarx for scanner sources, plus Jira and ServiceNow for ticketing. Reporting includes dashboards, custom reports, scheduled PDFs, and compliance mapping. These capabilities suit teams that want findings connected to remediation and reporting, though buyers should assess whether the available scanner and workflow connections match their environment.
According to the vendor's pricing page, all plans are custom-quoted and include a 14-day free trial; there is no permanent free plan. Starter covers up to 5,000 endpoints and 10 users, with three scanner integrations and Jira bidirectional synchronization. Growth raises those limits to 25,000 endpoints and 50 users, adds unlimited scanner integrations, attack-surface monitoring, SLA enforcement, and compliance mapping. Enterprise supports 100,000+ endpoints, unlimited users, multi-tenancy, SAML/OIDC SSO, and full remediation lifecycle tracking; it is also the tier with self-hosted deployment for on-premises, private-cloud, or air-gapped environments. Teravul is strongest for teams consolidating scanners and formalizing remediation; organizations wanting transparent list pricing or a permanent free option should look elsewhere.
