Techboard is a web-based database for researching Australian startups and young technology companies. It serves startups, investors, government teams, universities, advisors, and other organizations that need company, funding, founder, and ecosystem information. The directory includes more than 3,000 company profiles, with search by company, keyword, category, and state. Companies can claim or edit their profiles and publish announcements, while researchers can review funding events, investors, founders, executives, reports, and ecosystem analysis.
The freemium structure gives companies free access to profiles, claiming and editing tools, and company announcements. Paid access is organized into three subscription tiers: Tier 1 - Startup/Individual, Tier 2 - Multi-user, and Tier 3 - Government/Corporate. The tiers are designed around funding-data access for individuals, multiple users, or government and corporate teams. Subscribers can use parametric funding search with filters for date, amount, funding type, company, investor, category, state, and keyword. This makes Techboard more useful for targeted funding research than for a simple company lookup.
Data export is a notable strength for teams that need to work beyond the web interface. Subscribers can download information in Excel, CSV, and PDF formats, while raw data in spreadsheet form is available to government or corporate customers by special agreement. The service is web-based, so its fit is straightforward for browser-led research. Choose Techboard for Australian ecosystem mapping, funding analysis, and profile management. Organizations needing broad international coverage should choose a database with a wider geographic scope instead.
