Our verdict on Tap My Back

Tap My Back is an employee engagement platform for organizations that want recognition, rewards, feedback, surveys, and analytics in one system. Employees can recognize colleagues publicly or privately, participate in pulse and engagement surveys, and provide structured feedback. Managers can review recognition and engagement trends through dashboards, reports, and exports. The platform is suited to small teams, growing companies, and larger organizations with custom requirements, with access through the web, iOS, Android, and a Chrome extension.

Pricing is structured across three plans. Starter costs $2 per user per month when billed annually and includes peer recognition, badges, a rewards program, analytics, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google integration, plus SSO/SAML. Professional costs $3.20 per user per month when billed annually and adds mood, eNPS, engagement, and skill surveys; advanced analytics; peer, manager, self, and 360-degree feedback; goal tracking; live chat; and API access. Enterprise includes everything in Professional, along with white labeling, custom changes and integrations, a dedicated account manager, and 24/7 phone support. A 30-day trial is available.

Its main strength is breadth within employee engagement: recognition, rewards, anonymous survey responses, feedback workflows, real-time dashboards, trend analysis, and AI-assisted recognition messages and survey insights are covered in one product. Teams and Slack integrations can place engagement activities within existing collaboration tools, while mobile apps extend access beyond the browser. Organizations seeking basic recognition at a low annual price can start with Starter. Teams that need surveys, advanced analytics, or 360 feedback should consider Professional, while larger organizations needing custom integrations and dedicated support are better aligned with Enterprise. Buyers seeking a free plan or fixed Enterprise pricing should look elsewhere.
