Our verdict on Tableview

Tableview combines restaurant point of sale, inventory, procurement, payments, and accounting features for cafés, food trucks, restaurants, bars, hotels, chains, and franchises. It supports dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders, alongside menu management, floor and table planning, e-menu ordering, expense categorization, receipt scanning, supplier invoice management, and financial reporting. Web, iOS, and Android access support operations across locations, while centralized management covers multi-location expense consolidation.

Pricing is structured by location and billed monthly. Starter costs $69 per location per month and includes basic POS features, menu management, floor and table planning, e-menu ordering, basic reporting, and basic inventory. Pro costs $189 per location per month and adds a Kitchen Display System, advanced reporting and analytics, advanced inventory management, advanced procurement, multi-location management, and Tableview API access. Enterprise adds an SLA and uptime guarantees, personalized software features, white-labeling, enterprise integrations, dedicated support, and an account manager. There is no free plan.

The procurement and accounting workflows are the main differentiators for restaurants that want more than transaction processing. Tableview supports purchase orders, supplier management, cost tracking, price alerts, recipe costing, waste analysis, purchase-order matching, discrepancy flags, POS-to-ledger revenue posting, payment-method reconciliation, and profit-and-loss, balance-sheet, and cash-flow reporting. Xero and QuickBooks are the named integrations. Restaurants seeking connected purchasing, inventory, and financial operations should consider Tableview, while teams needing advanced procurement or multi-location controls will need the Pro tier rather than Starter.
