SysTools Office 365 Backup & Restore Tool is desktop software for backing up Microsoft 365 emails, contacts, calendars, and documents to local storage. It is aimed at IT administrators, businesses, and individual Microsoft 365 users handling mailbox protection, exports, migrations, or recovery. The tool supports shared mailboxes, in-place archive mailboxes, PST files, and cross-user restoration. Windows and macOS are supported, with individual-user backup available without administrator credentials.

The published plan structure is straightforward: the Full Version License costs $19 per user as a one-time license. It includes Microsoft 365 account backup, PST restoration into Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts, delta backup and restore, and in-place archive mailbox support. SysTools describes licenses as perpetual for a product version. Backup and restore processes use separate licenses, an important consideration when planning migration or recovery workflows. There is no free plan, so the product is intended for buyers ready to license the desktop utility.

Its strongest fit is Microsoft 365 mailbox export with local control. Administrators can process multiple mailboxes in batches using administrator credentials and CSV input, while date-range and folder-level selection can narrow each job. Delta backup captures newly added mailbox data, and pause-and-resume support helps manage longer operations. Unlimited local retention supports keeping backed-up data available on local storage. The trade-off is scope: this is a locally installed Microsoft 365 and PST utility, not hosted backup storage or a broad infrastructure backup service. Choose it for focused Microsoft 365 mailbox backup, restoration, and migration work; choose another category option when broader infrastructure coverage is required.
