Our verdict on Stet
Stet is a personal notes app for everyday thoughts, including lists and reminders. It is aimed at individuals who want to capture notes without a feature-heavy workspace. The Free plan includes unlimited notes, sync across web and Android, offline access that syncs after reconnection, Markdown import and export, and sharing individual notes with viewer or editor access. That covers straightforward personal note-taking across connected devices, with no charge for the listed plan.
Offline-first access is a practical fit for notes that need to remain available without a connection: changes sync when the device reconnects. Markdown import and export also gives users a way to move note content in and out in a portable format. Sharing is limited to individual notes with viewer or editor access, rather than being presented as a team workspace. These choices suit personal use and occasional sharing better than collaborative projects that depend on shared workspaces.
Stet keeps its scope deliberately narrow: its site says it avoids templates, databases, and an AI assistant. The product is available on the web and Android, so people who need a different platform footprint may prefer another notes app. Pick Stet if free, simple personal notes with sync, offline access, and Markdown support are the priority. Look elsewhere if you need team-oriented organization or the additional workspace features it leaves out.
