StaffWeaver is a browser-based music notation editor for composers, arrangers, educators, and ensemble directors. Its AI Score Chat can create or modify scores from natural-language prompts, while an AI scanner converts sheet-music PDFs and images into editable drafts with a side-by-side review and repair workflow. Users can enter notation by dragging and dropping or tapping to play, hear sampled-instrument playback, and print full scores or individual transposing parts. It is most relevant to people working with written scores, rather than anyone seeking a dedicated melody-generation tool.

The editor’s score workflow is its clearest strength. MusicXML import and export support exchange with compatible notation workflows; playback includes per-part mute and solo, and structural proofread checks can be supplemented by optional AI suggestions. The key and chord controls provide basic chord/scale awareness, but they do not make the product a specialized melody-generation environment. The service runs in modern browsers on tablets and larger devices, with no standalone app or VST/AU plugin. That makes it a fit for browser-based score work, but less suitable for users who need a desktop application or plugin-based music production.
