Staccato is an AI MIDI co-writer for music producers and composers who want to turn text prompts into musical building blocks. It generates stems, melodies, beats, chord progressions and sections, then supports rewriting, accompaniment and continuation of existing MIDI. The product runs on the web, Windows and macOS as a standalone application or plugin, with generated MIDI routed through the user’s own virtual instruments. A history view keeps previous conversations and generated MIDI files available.

The published plans show two monthly options. Basic costs $11.99 per month and includes unlimited monthly credits, Create, Extend, Rewrite and Accompany plugin features, and personalized sound design tips. It excludes commercial use and record/upload.
