Smart Housing is a web-based property management platform for landlords and property managers. Its product suite covers online rent collection, tenant applications and screening, electronic lease signing, lease storage, maintenance ticketing, accounting, vacancy marketing, property websites, and resident and owner portals. The Landlord Edition is positioned for small independent landlords, while the Student Housing and Enterprise editions address broader property management needs through contact-based plans. Residents can view balances, payment history, automatic payments, lease information, and maintenance services through the platform.
The free Landlord Edition is the clearest entry point. Its published feature set includes online rent collection through ACH and major credit and debit cards, resident portals, tenant applications, screening and resident scoring, electronic leases, centralized maintenance, double-entry accounting, aging reports, owner statements, 1099 generation, vacancy marketing, and property websites.
