Sipfront Probe is an active synthetic testing product for voice teams that need to validate SIP and PSTN behavior before and during releases. Its audience includes CCaaS and UCaaS vendors, telcos, voice AI companies, and telecom integrators. Probe places functional and concurrent calls to check codecs, DTMF, hold, transfer, T.38 fax, routing, least-cost routing, and call content. It also supports infrastructure-upgrade regression testing and measures MOS, jitter, packet loss, and RTT.

Its strongest fit is large-scale validation rather than narrow call checks. Probe supports load and stress testing up to 100,000+ concurrent calls, while the published Growth plan includes 100 concurrent load test calls and Carrier includes 1,000. Enterprise lists 2,000 concurrent load test calls, with custom volume, SLA, and terms. For engineering workflows, REST API access, an MCP server, webhooks, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Terraform, Slack, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, Prometheus, and Grafana connect testing with automation and operational tooling. Forensic captures, dashboards, metrics, and AI-assisted test authoring add depth to investigation and test creation.

Pricing makes the product a specialist purchase. Growth costs €449 per month and includes 5,000 functional test minutes, 5,000 load test minutes, the Probe, and 30-day data retention. Carrier costs €1,349 per month and adds 25,000 functional test minutes, 50,000 load test minutes, 90-day retention, and on-prem test agents. Enterprise includes custom terms, 365-day retention, and on-prem test agents. Choose Probe when scale, regression coverage, and media validation matter; choose an alternative when the primary need is routine SIP-trunk monitoring or a lower-cost entry point.
