It suits teams that want a free scheduler for a customer-managed Houdini farm, rather than a general-purpose manager spanning a broader range of software.

The workflow is built around farm infrastructure the team manages: a server, client machines, and shared network storage for inputs and outputs. The published software scope includes Linux, macOS, and Windows, and the category specifications identify NFS and Samba (SMB) shared network filesystems.
