Shipmail is hosted business email for individuals, founders, and small teams using custom domains. Alongside webmail, it provides mailboxes, aliases, shared inboxes, calendars, contacts, newsletters, booking pages, and transactional email tools. Standard IMAP and SMTP access supports Apple Mail, Outlook, and Thunderbird, while the platform also offers API access, SDKs, CLI tools, webhooks, an MCP server, and an AI assistant. Its broad feature set suits teams that want business communication and email operations in one product.

Pricing is organized around mailbox capacity and monthly usage. Solo costs $4 per month for two mailboxes, 15 GB per mailbox, one team member, 20,000 email sends, 1,000 newsletter sends, and 500 active subscribers. Pro costs $9 per month for four mailboxes, up to five team members, 40,000 email sends, 5,000 newsletter sends, and 2,500 active subscribers. Team costs $29 per month for 12 mailboxes, 25 GB per mailbox, unlimited team members, 120,000 email sends, 25,000 newsletter sends, and 10,000 active subscribers. Scale is listed at $75 per month or $750 per year, with 30 mailboxes shown, 25 GB per mailbox, unlimited team members, and two aliases per mailbox. A 14-day trial is available, but there is no free plan.

Platform coverage is wide: Shipmail supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and an API. Integrations include Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, Google Meet, Zoom, Apple Calendar, Apple Contacts, DAVx5, GNOME Calendar, and Evolution. CalDAV and CardDAV support helps connect calendars and contacts across compatible clients. Choose Shipmail if custom-domain email needs to sit alongside newsletters, booking pages, transactional sending, and developer tooling. Teams seeking a narrowly focused mailbox service or first-party mobile apps may prefer a simpler alternative.
