Servers Australia Object Storage is a cloud service for storing and retrieving unstructured data as objects. It is aimed at businesses and developers that want Australian-hosted infrastructure for backups, archiving, file sharing, static website assets, content distribution, or data lakes. Access is available through web and application endpoints, with an S3-compatible API for software and workflows that already support the S3 ecosystem. Private and public object access, up to 100 buckets, and a stated limit of 500 requests per second per IP address cover a range of operational use cases.

Pricing is usage-based and billed monthly in arrears. Storage from 1 to 10,000 GB is priced at $0.03 per GB monthly, while storage above 10,000 GB is priced at $0.02 per GB monthly. Outbound data transfer is charged separately at $0.02 per GB for 1 to 10,000 GB and $0.01 per GB above 10,000 GB. The structure gives larger storage and transfer volumes lower rates, but buyers should account for both charges when estimating recurring costs. There is no free plan, so the service is suited to planned production or backup use rather than casual evaluation.

Its strongest fit is backup-oriented infrastructure: integrations are listed for Veeam, Zerto, Arcserve, UpdraftPlus, Rclone, Cyberduck, S3 Browser, and S3cmd. Object versioning, lifecycle policies, locking, and retention support recovery, cleanup, and immutability workflows. Phone, chat, ticket, and 24/7 support add operational coverage, while ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI DSS are listed compliance signals. The 5 GB maximum object size and lack of a listed replication scope make it less suitable for workloads that require very large objects or built-in replication. Choose it for Australian-hosted S3 storage with backup integrations; consider an alternative when those constraints are central.
