Sendarix review
A focused email service for developers needing mailboxes and transactional sending.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Sendarix combines hosted custom-domain mailboxes with transactional email for applications. It is aimed at developers and teams that need conventional mailbox access alongside messages such as verification codes, password resets, receipts, and account alerts. Mailboxes work through IMAP and SMTP, while transactional sending is available through an API or SMTP relay. The service runs on the web and through an API, with operational webhooks, delivery logs, event visibility, and guidance for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication.
The published annual-billing equivalents start with Lite at $2.50 per month, offering 10 mailboxes, 5 GB of shared storage, 10 domains, IMAP and SMTP access, transactional email, and mailbox migration. Starter costs $5 per month with unlimited mailboxes, 25 GB of shared storage, and unlimited domains. Professional costs $8.33 per month with 75 GB, while Business costs $20.83 per month with 150 GB. The three higher tiers retain unlimited mailboxes and domains, transactional email, migration, and IMAP/SMTP access. Starter, Professional, and Business also support monthly billing. Storage is shared across each account rather than assigned to individual mailboxes.
Sendarix fits teams that want one service for employee or project inboxes and application-generated email, particularly when migration support matters. Imports cover IMAP, MBOX, EML, EML-ZIP, and PST, and the API, webhooks, and delivery logs provide useful operational visibility for application workflows. Its scope is narrower than a broader productivity suite: mobile and calendar features are not part of the offering. Choose Sendarix when standard mail protocols, custom domains, transactional delivery, and authentication guidance are central requirements. Choose an alternative when the team needs integrated mobile mail, calendars, or broader productivity capabilities.
