Our verdict on Secure64 DNS Guard

Secure64 DNS Guard is a network-level DNS security service for carriers, enterprises, government organizations, and other network operators. Its MalwareGuard, FraudGuard, and TunnelGuard services block domains linked to malware distribution, phishing, fraud, scams, botnet command-and-control traffic, and DNS tunnels used for data exfiltration or bandwidth piracy. Because protection is applied at the network level, connected devices do not need endpoint software. The service supports both mobile and fixed-line networks, making it suited to operators that need centralized filtering for subscribers, employees, or managed network users.

The strongest fit is infrastructure where DNS policy can provide a shared security layer across many devices. Secure64 provides real-time security updates and Guard feeds in Response Policy Zone format for BIND, PowerDNS, and other suitable DNS servers. That feed-based approach gives operators a way to integrate threat blocking with existing DNS infrastructure rather than deploying software to each endpoint. BIND and PowerDNS are the named integrations, while broader use depends on whether the DNS server is suitable for the RPZ feeds.

Secure64 DNS Guard uses a contact-sales pricing model, and the Guard services are separately purchasable. That makes it more appropriate for organizations evaluating network-level controls with Secure64 than for buyers seeking an immediately priced, self-serve DNS filtering product. Choose it when centralized blocking, carrier or enterprise network coverage, real-time updates, and RPZ integration are priorities. Organizations that need endpoint software, a broader named platform ecosystem, or published plan-based pricing should consider a different type of DNS filtering service.
