Our verdict on Seceon Open Threat Management
Seceon Open Threat Management brings SIEM, XDR, SOAR, UEBA, NDR and endpoint security into one cybersecurity platform. It is aimed at enterprises as well as managed service providers and managed security service providers that need to collect and correlate telemetry across logs, identities, networks, endpoints, cloud environments and applications. Real-time event ingestion and correlation sit alongside threat detection, investigation, compliance reporting and containment, making the product a broad option for teams that want detection and response functions under one platform.
Its MSP/MSSP focus is reflected in multi-tenant management and the free Community Guard Cloud Security edition. That edition is limited to 50 users and provides 90 days of hot data for threat analysis, with long-term SIEM storage of up to 7 years. The aiSIEM-CGuard Cloud Security plan supports up to 5 sources and provides one year of hot data, also with up to 7 years of long-term storage. Automated SIEM supports unlimited sources and can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud; it includes one year of hot data and the same long-term storage duration. According to the vendor's pricing page, paid editions require contacting sales rather than showing prices.
The feature set extends beyond alerting: it includes AI/ML-driven detection and behavioral analytics, threat hunting and forensic analysis, response playbooks, EDR, NDR, compliance dashboards and real-time containment. Those capabilities make OTM a fit for providers managing varied customer environments or teams seeking several security functions together. Buyers who need a narrow SIEM product, or who need published paid-plan prices before evaluating options, may prefer a more focused or transparently priced alternative. The free edition is specifically for MSPs and MSSPs, not a general-purpose free tier for every buyer.
