Our verdict on ScanDog

ScanDog is an application security posture management platform for development and security teams that need one place to coordinate findings from SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC, container and secret scanners. It normalizes duplicate findings, applies contextual risk signals, and connects remediation work with CI pipelines, pull requests, tickets and collaboration tools. The product is suited to small teams that want broad application security orchestration without starting with a paid commitment, while larger organizations can use the Enterprise tier for expanded limits.

Pricing is structured around three plans. Free costs €0 per user and includes 3 products, 10 workflows, 2 users and 30 AI fixes per month. Team costs €19 per user per month with annual billing and expands coverage to up to 10 products, 200 workflows, up to 30 users and 200 AI fixes per month. Enterprise includes unlimited products, workflows, users and AI fixes per month. ScanDog runs on the web and connects with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jira, Linear, Azure Boards, Slack and Microsoft Teams. It also lists Google Chat, Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Mistral, Cohere and Snyk integrations, with Google Chat marked as coming soon.

Its strongest area is breadth across the application security workflow. Contextual prioritization can use EPSS, KEV, exploitability, reachability and business impact, while AI-assisted remediation can produce code diffs and pull requests. Security-quality gates, pull-request annotations, if-this-then-that workflows, ownership tracking, audit history, SBOM generation and license compliance support extend the platform beyond a findings inbox. Small teams should consider ScanDog when they need scanner coordination, automation and collaboration features at a low entry price. Teams requiring a non-web deployment, or those needing more than the Free plan’s product, user or workflow limits, should consider alternatives that better match those requirements.
