Our verdict on SBX
SBX adds shared inbox coordination to Microsoft 365 Groups and Outlook shared mailboxes. It is aimed at small and medium-sized companies that want to assign incoming email, track its status and collaborate without moving their workflow into a separate helpdesk. Teams can leave private notes, mention colleagues, share categories, link related threads and see who owns a conversation. The product is a focused option for Outlook users; organizations that need multiple email providers or channels should look elsewhere.
Its Microsoft fit is the main strength and boundary. SBX integrates with Microsoft 365 Groups, Outlook shared mailboxes, Outlook on the web and Outlook for Windows, with web, Windows and Chrome extension platforms. Rules can auto-assign, tag or close email, and views can be filtered or set to archive assigned and closed messages. Analytics cover response times, backlog, team load and mailbox activity. This suits teams that need visibility and routing around shared email; it is not designed as a broader omnichannel support workspace, and it does not include shared draft collaboration or approval workflows.
According to the vendor's pricing page, the Basic plan costs €8 per user per month with monthly billing or €6 per user per month with annual billing.
