rxInventory is an on-premises network inventory application for administrators managing computers and other network devices. It discovers hardware and software without agents, scans Windows systems remotely, inventories Linux and macOS through SSH, and queries network devices through SNMP. The product is aimed at organizations that need a focused way to maintain device records, review software installations, manage licenses, and monitor changes across a network. It is particularly suited to small environments where a low per-device price and agent-free discovery matter more than broad deployment options.

The published plans show a Basic tier priced at €0 as a flat fee, with full functionality and support. Professional is priced per client: €5 for 25 clients, €4 for 250 clients, €3.5 for 500 clients, and €3 for 1,000 clients. Enterprise is listed at €4,999 as a flat fee. Pricing is shown in euros, described as perpetual, and excludes VAT. The entry structure is most attractive for smaller inventories, while larger client tiers reduce the per-client price. Scheduled scans, IP ranges, Active Directory, and collection directories provide several ways to gather inventory data.

Its feature depth is strongest in discovery and historical tracking. Administrators can combine hardware inventory, software inventory, license management, custom assets, user-defined properties, custom reports, data exports, and historical hardware and software change tracking. Database connections include Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL. The main trade-offs are the Windows installation requirement and the 25-client limit associated with the entry-level scope. Choose rxInventory for a small, Windows-centered inventory with mixed network-device scanning; consider another product if you need a non-Windows deployment or a less constrained starting tier.
