Our verdict on Ruijie Cloud
Ruijie Cloud is a cloud-based platform for deploying, monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting supported Ruijie networking devices. It suits small offices, hotels, retail branches, CCTV projects, service providers, and other small and medium-sized business environments. Management is available through web, iOS, and Android applications, giving teams a central place to oversee network operations and remote maintenance.
The Free plan provides lifetime service for basic Ruijie Cloud features. Its scope includes self-organizing network provisioning for rapid device setup, centralized device management, topology visualization, alarm notifications, Wi-Fi optimization, RF planning, VLAN visualization, captive portals, account authentication, and Layer 2 and Layer 3 roaming configuration. Network reports can be edited and exported. The published plan structure is straightforward for organizations seeking cloud management without a subscription, while advanced features may be subject to future charges.
Ruijie Cloud’s standout capability is its collection of AI heatmap, diagnostic, and roaming tools. These functions complement RF planning and network optimization by helping teams examine wireless coverage, investigate issues, and manage roaming behavior. Captive portal support and guest access also fit locations such as hotels, retail branches, and other environments that need authenticated visitor connectivity. The trade-off is a focused ecosystem: the platform manages supported Ruijie networking devices rather than serving as a vendor-neutral network console, and its cloud model does not provide an open-source deployment option. Choose Ruijie Cloud for free centralized management of Ruijie networks with wireless planning and AI-assisted diagnostics; consider an alternative if broader device compatibility or an open-source platform is essential.
