Our verdict on RouteSavvy
RouteSavvy is browser-based route planning and optimization software for delivery, field-service, transport, pickup, and sales-call businesses. It is aimed at small to mid-sized businesses and nonprofits that need to turn spreadsheet address lists into workable routes. CSV and Excel imports support the starting workflow, while web access, iOS, Android, and API availability cover common operating environments.
The published pricing shows one paid plan at $30 per month, with a 14-day free trial and no free plan. Pricing also scales with monthly credit usage: one credit represents every 100 locations added or every route created. The base plan includes route planning and optimization plus web-based access. Mobile and GPS tracking features are available as an add-on, making those capabilities an additional consideration for teams that need dispatch visibility, field updates, or fleet monitoring.
RouteSavvy's core strength is practical route control. Teams can optimize for shortest time or distance, optimize multiple routes, balance routes, edit stops, reorder them, and copy routes. Exports in PDF, CSV, GPX, and text formats help share route information, while the mobile application adds dispatch, proof-of-delivery photos and signatures, customer delivery-status notifications, and smartphone GPS tracking. It fits organizations moving from manual planning to structured route operations. Teams seeking a spreadsheet-centered workflow with delivery execution features should consider it; organizations whose priorities extend beyond that focused routing workflow should compare alternatives.
