RouteBud is a field sales platform for distribution companies and other teams that visit customer locations. It combines territory CRM, location records, visit history, route planning, driving route optimization, rep assignment, GPS check-ins, and visit documentation. Managers work in the web CRM, while sales representatives use iOS and Android apps to navigate assigned stops and record outcomes, photos, notes, and cannot-visit reasons. Role-based administration supports administrators, managers, and sales reps.

Pricing has two required components. The Platform fee costs $19 per month and includes an organization workspace, CRM and routes, a manager dashboard, and admin tools. Each Active rep costs $12 per active rep per month, billed monthly, and includes the rep mobile app, route execution, GPS check-in, and visit photos and notes. A 14-day trial is available, and the launch offer waives the first month's platform fee. Annual billing is offered as paying for 10 months for 12, without a separate annual dollar amount shown. Teams should calculate the total based on both their workspace and active-rep needs.

RouteBud's strongest fit is a small field team that needs a focused way to organize customer locations, create multi-stop routes, validate visits by GPS distance, and give managers visibility into route progress. CSV location import, map discovery, duplicate cleanup, push notifications for assigned routes, and live monitoring support the operational workflow from planning through visit records. The product is less suitable for teams seeking a broader sales system beyond territory and visit management, especially where lead capture, order capture, offline operation, or integrations are central requirements. Choose RouteBud when visit routing and accountability are the priority; consider another category fit when the sales process extends well beyond field visits.

RouteBud pros and cons

    • Driving route optimization with multi-stop planning and rep assignment
    • GPS check-ins, visit photos, notes, outcomes, and distance validation
    • Live manager map with route progress and role-based administration
  • Where it doesn't
    • Pricing combines a $19 monthly platform fee with per-rep charges
    • Annual billing is described without a separate annual dollar amount
    • Focused on location visits rather than a broad sales workflow
