Our verdict on Rise.ai
Rise.ai gives ecommerce merchants tools to manage store credit, gift cards, cashback, referrals and loyalty rewards. It is aimed at stores that want customer rewards to accrue as credit rather than points, with the option to automate issuance around customer actions. Customers can accumulate rewards in a store-credit account and redeem them with a checkout code or one-click apply button. The platform also includes tiered memberships, rewards pages, widgets and customer account-page modules, making it a fit for merchants building credit-based retention into the shopping experience.
Its scope is most compelling when credit is the center of the loyalty program. Configurable triggers and conditions can automate rewards, while referrals can reward both existing customers and referred shoppers with store credit. Gift card and credit issuance also supports bulk campaigns. The integrations span ecommerce, POS, returns and marketing tools, including Shopify, Shopify POS, Wix, Klaviyo and AfterShip. That mix can suit a store coordinating rewards with its storefront and adjacent customer tools; merchants looking for a broad points-led loyalty system may find the credit-first approach too narrow.
The published plans progress from Starter, with manual credit issuance, referrals, an advanced gift card program and one automatic workflow, to Small Business, Pro and Premium. Small Business adds two workflows, one integration and claim- and balance-page features; Pro raises the allowances to three workflows and two integrations and adds bulk gift card creation and an apply-credit button. Premium includes unlimited workflows and integrations plus white labeling.
