Retarus Email Security is a cloud-based email protection service for organizations with complex or hybrid mail infrastructures. It can operate as a secure email gateway or connect with Microsoft 365 through an ICES connector, while also supporting existing email systems and mail servers. Its coverage includes spam filtering, phishing URL protection, malware and ransomware filtering, attachment controls, spoofing detection, quarantine management and post-delivery protection. Security teams, administrators and organizations with forensic investigation requirements are the clearest fit.
The security feature set is broad, with configurable spam probability thresholds, time-of-click URL protection and antivirus multiscan using multiple scanning engines. Potentially harmful attachments can be sandboxed, blocked or rescanned, while CxO fraud and spoofing detection addresses impersonation risks. Patient Zero Detection adds post-delivery monitoring, and Forensic SIEM integration provides event and log connectivity. These capabilities make the service suited to teams that need more than basic mailbox filtering and want controls spanning message inspection, investigation and response.
Administration is handled through the EAS or myEAS portals, and users can review and release permitted messages through a web quarantine portal.
