Our verdict on Resume.co
Resume.co is a web-based resume and cover letter builder for job seekers who want to create application documents with AI assistance or write and edit their own content. It can generate a letter from basic information, tailor content to a job posting, and provide editable templates with ATS-oriented layouts. Font, color, and design controls let users customize the result, while matching resume and cover-letter designs help keep application documents visually consistent. Completed documents can be downloaded as PDFs.
The plans combine a no-cost basic option with a short paid access period and a recurring subscription. Basic access includes a resume and cover letter builder, resume sharing, unlimited downloads, unlimited AI tailoring for any job, and unlimited AI cover letters. The 7-day unlimited access plan costs $1.95 once and includes full access; according to the vendor's pricing page, it renews at $29.95 per month after the trial. The monthly subscription includes the builder, unlimited downloads, unlimited AI tailoring, and unlimited AI cover letters. Buyers should note the renewal terms before choosing the introductory access, and compare the ongoing price with how often they expect to need the AI and download features.
Resume.co is a fit for individual applicants who value job-specific drafting, editable layouts, PDF export, and coordinated resume and letter designs in one web service. Its focus is document creation rather than a broader job-search workflow, and its listed support channel is documentation. That makes it a more natural choice for people comfortable working in a browser and consulting help materials than for buyers seeking another deployment option or a different support channel. Applicants who only need a one-off letter may want to weigh the monthly renewal against their expected use; those preparing multiple applications may find the unlimited AI tailoring and letters more relevant.
