Our verdict on REST Assured
REST Assured is an open-source Java DSL for testing REST-based services. It is designed for Java developers and QA engineers who want to construct HTTP requests, send them to services, and validate results inside automated tests. The library supports standard and arbitrary HTTP methods, query, form, path, and multipart parameters, plus request and response headers, cookies, status codes, and content. It is distributed as Java dependencies through Maven or Gradle, making it a code-centric option rather than a hosted API testing workspace.
