Our verdict on RequestBin

RequestBin is a cloud platform for capturing, inspecting, storing, replaying, and forwarding HTTP requests and webhooks. Developers create request bins with unique webhook URLs, then send requests from services such as Stripe or GitHub for real-time inspection. It suits developers debugging integrations, testing request handling, building mock APIs, and connecting webhook activity to coding tools. The web and API platforms support request inspection across methods, headers, query parameters, bodies, source IPs, and timestamps.

Pricing follows a freemium model. The FREE plan costs $0 per month and includes real-time webhook inspection, quick replay of captured requests, API keys and an MCP server, and one mock API. The PRO plan costs $12 per month when billed monthly. It adds unlimited request history, edited request replay, forwarding rules, unlimited bulk export, and 20 mock APIs. The paid tier is therefore most relevant when request volume, reusable test endpoints, or routing workflows exceed the free offering. Developers can also access a REST API for bins, interactions, replay jobs, and forwarding rules.

RequestBin’s strongest fit is development and integration work that benefits from visibility into incoming requests and controlled responses. Automatic forwarding rules can apply method, path, and header conditions, while the HTTP requester provides authentication presets and code generation. MCP connectivity extends the workflow to AI coding agents. The product is less suitable as a complete production webhook management layer when automatic retries or signature verification are required. Choose it for request debugging, replay, forwarding, and mock API development; choose an alternative when production delivery controls are central to the workflow.
