Our verdict on RelayKit

RelayKit is a hosted webhook management platform for developers and teams working with event-driven applications. It receives webhooks from services such as Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, and other providers, then captures and inspects payloads, verifies signatures, forwards events to multiple destinations, retries failed deliveries, and supports replay. Its web and API access, local development tunnel CLI, searchable history, rate limiting, and incident alerts make it suited to teams that need visibility and control over webhook delivery rather than a basic endpoint receiver.

RelayKit uses a freemium plan structure. Hobby includes 1,000 webhooks per month, one project, 24-hour log retention, signature verification, manual replay, and the local development tunnel CLI. Pro raises capacity to 100,000 webhooks per month across five projects, adds 30-day log retention, automatic retries up to 20, IP allowlisting, and rate limiting. Team supports 500,000 webhooks per month and 20 projects, with 90-day log retention plus Schema Sentinel and Time Machine replay. A 14-day free trial is available, giving teams a way to assess the workflow before choosing a paid tier.

The standout capability is the combination of schema-change detection and replay tooling. Schema Sentinel can identify changes and trigger incident alerts, while Time Machine replay extends the replay workflow for Team users; lower tiers still provide manual or time-window batch replay. RelayKit also supports fan-out delivery and integrations with Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Twilio, SendGrid, Paddle, Clerk, Resend, and Slack. It is a strong fit for developers who value inspection, recovery, and schema monitoring. Teams needing more than the Hobby limits should consider Pro or Team, while buyers seeking AI features or open-source deployment should choose another product.
