Our verdict on Raysync
Raysync is an enterprise file transfer platform for organizations moving large files, high volumes of smaller files, and data between offices, partners, cloud storage, and on-premise environments. It combines high-speed uploads and downloads with peer-to-peer transfer, file sharing, invite-to-upload links, synchronization, backup, monitoring, permissions, and API or SDK integration. Its audience is teams that need controlled, repeatable data movement rather than occasional consumer file sharing.
The pricing structure separates cloud deployment from on-premise options. Raysync Cloud costs $99 per month and includes SaaS deployment, 1 Gbps UDP bandwidth, 2 TB of transfer/download traffic, 1 TB of storage, and a 10-user limit. Raysync SMB costs $1,599 per year and provides on-premise deployment, 1 Gbps UDP bandwidth, unlimited transfer/download traffic, and a 10-user limit. Raysync Enterprise uses on-premise deployment, tier-based bandwidth licensing, unlimited transfer/download traffic, and unlimited users. A 7-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
Platform coverage is a significant part of Raysync’s fit: users can work through web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, while APIs and SDKs support integration work. Active Directory, OpenLDAP, Okta, OneLogin, Google Workspace, and standard storage integrations extend its place in existing environments. TLS 1.3 and AES-256 encryption, transfer logs, custom branding, and granular permissions suit organizations with operational and access-control requirements. Choose Raysync when synchronized, monitored, high-speed transfers and deployment flexibility matter. Choose another service if you need a free tier, a lower-cost starting point, or a simpler file-sharing workflow.
