Our verdict on Radial

Radial is a hosted issue tracker for engineering-led teams, including game development teams that organize bugs through developer workflows. It supports issue creation, assignment, triage, closure, search, and project management through web views, a command-line interface, a REST API, or an MCP server. Teams can work in list, board, calendar, backlog, cycle, triage, project, and search views. Its fit is strongest for small software teams that want focused issue tracking connected to code activity rather than an all-in-one work platform.

Radial has one paid plan at $50 per user per year, billed annually. The plan includes unlimited issues, unlimited projects and teams, unlimited integrations, CLI and MCP server access, a public REST API, and full JSON and CSV export. Custom workflows and automation rules are included in its category profile. There is no separate free tier, so teams evaluating Radial should plan for annual per-user costs from the start. The single-plan structure keeps the purchasing decision straightforward, while the included developer interfaces give technical teams several ways to automate issue work.

Its strongest category fit comes from platform connectivity: Radial synchronizes issues with GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, and can update issues from pull requests and merges. Slack is also listed as an integration. The CLI supports JSON output for scripting and continuous integration, while HTML prototype attachments provide preview URLs. For game teams, Radial is a good choice when bug triage should stay close to repositories, branches, commits, and pull requests. Teams looking for game-specific workflows, Unity or Unreal connections, or specialized screenshot annotation should choose a more focused game bug tracking product.
