Our verdict on Qurely
Qurely provides online question banks for doctors preparing for UK postgraduate medical exams, including the UK MLA AKT, PLAB 1, MSRA, FRCA Primary and FCICM. Its UK MLA AKT bank is aimed at candidates who want exam-topic practice, timed mock papers and feedback on performance. Clinician-written questions, detailed explanations and topic organization give the product a clear preparation focus rather than a broad collection of study tools.
The published UK MLA AKT plans show a free option with a limited set of questions and paid access to the exam bank and mock papers. The six-month pass is £16.99 once, or about £2.83 per month equivalent when spread across six months; the monthly plan is £7.99. A three-month pass costs £12.99 once. Paid plans include full explanations, flagging, review mode and ringfenced mock papers. Pricing varies by exam bank, so candidates preparing for another exam should check the relevant plan before choosing. A 14-day refund period is also offered.
The main value is the separation of full-length, timed mock papers from the practice pool, alongside pass marks set to Angoff standards and Bayesian readiness estimates after mocks. Topic and time-based performance tracking can help candidates see where practice is concentrated, while explanations refer to UK guidelines. Qurely is a focused fit for UK MLA AKT candidates seeking structured question practice at a low annual-equivalent price. Candidates who need an app or broader learning resources beyond question banks should look for an alternative, since Qurely is web-only and centered on exam practice.
