Our verdict on QA Sphere

QA Sphere is a web-based test management platform for software development and QA teams. It brings test case organization, planning, execution, result tracking, requirement traceability, reporting, and issue coordination into one workspace. Teams can organize cases with tags, priorities, and filters; create milestone-based plans; assign and track test runs; and use AI-assisted test case generation and issue drafting. It is suited to small QA teams that want structured workflows without starting with a large software spend.

The freemium pricing model gives teams a Free plan with limited AI credits, API and integrations, and basic support. Standard costs $12 per user per month when billed monthly and adds unlimited viewers, unlimited projects, Google SSO, and standard support. Business costs $24 per user per month when billed monthly, with extended AI credits, SAML 2.0 SSO, SCIM provisioning and deprovisioning, and priority support. Enterprise is tailored to organizational or compliance needs. A 30-day free trial is also available.

QA Sphere fits development workflows through integrations with Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Linear, Notion, Slack, webhooks, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Bitbucket Pipelines. Its REST API covers test cases, runs, results, and other test data, while CSV import, migration, and export tools support movement into and out of the platform. Small teams should consider QA Sphere when they value broad test management coverage, automation connections, and low entry pricing. Teams needing established long-term maturity evidence or advanced identity controls from the outset may prefer a more established alternative or a higher paid tier.
