Our verdict on Pulseway

Pulseway is a remote monitoring and management platform for IT departments and managed service providers. It brings workstations, servers, networks, applications, and mobile devices into a centralized interface, with real-time monitoring, customizable alerts, remote control, file transfer, patch management, scripting, automation, reporting, and dashboards. Access is available through web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, making it a fit for teams that need to monitor and remediate systems while away from a desktop.

Its strongest case is breadth across operating systems and operational tasks. Pulseway supports operating-system and third-party application patching, unattended access, PowerShell, Batch, VBScript, and Bash scripting, plus automation workflows and auto-remediation. Network discovery, topology mapping, and SNMP monitoring extend coverage beyond endpoint agents. Integrations with Pulseway PSA, ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Zendesk, PagerDuty, Slack, IT Glue, Webroot, Bitdefender, Unitrends, and Datto can help connect monitoring with service management, alerting, documentation, security, and backup workflows.

Pricing is structured around contact-sales purchasing rather than publicly displayed plan tiers. The published offer includes a 14-day free trial, while a free plan is not available for new users. Pulseway’s hybrid deployment model and support for Windows, macOS, Linux, BSD, and Raspberry Pi OS give it room for mixed environments, but buyers should expect a broader RMM implementation rather than a narrowly focused monitoring tool. Choose Pulseway if mobile access, patching, scripting, network visibility, and integrations are central requirements. Consider a simpler alternative if the priority is only basic alerting or lightweight remote access.
