Prolific is a participant-recruitment and research-infrastructure platform for researchers, AI developers, and product teams. It provides access to verified participants, audience targeting, screening, representative samples, and study-management tools. Teams can support surveys, concept testing, usability testing, interviews, focus groups, longitudinal studies, and prototype research while Prolific manages recruitment, participant communication, submissions, approvals, bonuses, and payments.
The Pay as you go plan has no monthly fees and combines participant rewards with a platform fee. It includes 300+ audience filters, custom screening, API and no-code integrations, and unlimited users and workspaces. Managed services adds expert-led data collection, participant sourcing and curation, quality assurance, a dedicated project team, and data analysis and reporting. Integrations cover survey, interview, experiment, user research, and annotation tools, along with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Skype. Web, API, and Chrome extension access support different research workflows.
